Kim Ledlie Design is a full service interior design firm serving Colorado (Colorado Springs, Front Range, Mountain West), Austin, Texas, and beyond! We cater to our clients, creating innovative designs that reflect the style of our homeowners with distinction and sophistication. Since its inception, Kim Ledlie Design has formed relationships with some of the best clients and leading industry professionals around. We thrive on this collaborative effort to create imaginative spaces, often mixing modern with traditional, to fashion designs that will endure.

KIM LEDLIE: PRINCIPLE DESIGNER
"If you asked me what I wanted to be in my youth, I would have looked at you confidently and said, 'I want to be an artist!' As a child, my view of an art was limited to pen on paper, paint on canvas. Over the years, my perception of what it means to be an artist has developed into something much broader and all encompassing. I got into interior design because I wanted to create something real and beautiful. Forming living art in which people move about and change over time is exciting. The goal is to create an emotional experience for clients, much like art does, while maintaining the ease of everyday living."

In 2002, while studying design at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Kim had the opportunity to complete a design internship with a 200+ year old firm in Edinburgh, Scotland, called Whytock & Reid, which held the Royal Appointment to the Queen. During her time there, she found herself working on amazing projects, both commercial and residential, and more fully grasped a complete understanding of design. Kim realized that there are many "right" answers to creating a beautiful space - the trick is figuring out which answers are the right ones for your client.

Upon graduating with honors in 2003 with her Bachelors of Interior Design, Kim returned home to Texas. Almost immediately, she found herself working in high-end residential design alongside an amazing designer and mentor in Austin, where she remained for 8 years. During that time, Kim soaked up "all things design" and really developed a sense of her style.

In the Fall of 2011, Kim’s namesake, Kim Ledlie Design, was launched. Over the years that followed, Kim had the opportunity to collaborate with another design professional, Laura McDaniel. In early 2014, Kim Ledlie Design expanded by adding Laura as a designer. With over 30 years combined design experience, the Kim Ledlie Design team works with the utmost integrity to create timeless spaces that are distinct, yet approachable.We believe that a beautiful home is the realization of architect, builder, interior designer, and homeowner, all working together to create something that is unique and personal.

In the summer of 2019, Kim Ledlie Design moved their principal design office to Woodland Park, Colorado, and now operates out of two locations: Austin, Texas & Colorado Springs, Colorado. Kim Ledlie has maintained partnerships with amazing builders and tradespeople who are changing the landscape of central Austin. Additionally, Kim Ledlie is making her mark in the luxury market of Colorado, serving the Front Range and beyond.
